Cookie Willis retires after 40 years with Pizza Hut
After 40 fantastic years with Pizza Hut, RGM Mildred “Cookie” Willis is retiring.
Cookie started her tenure with Pizza Hut in November 1979 as a waitress. Through the years, she worked as a cook, Assistant Manager, and Store Manager at several locations. In each role, she brought a no-nonsense approach that carried her through her last day with Pizza Hut. She’s been an excellent mentor for many employees that went to be Store Managers of multiple other locations.
During her tenure, Cookie ran a high performing, customer friendly, family-oriented Pizza Hut. She was a part of the Top 10 Pizza Huts in the Virginia Market several years running. Not only did Cookie run a smooth operation, she gave opportunities to many young employees getting their start in the working world and set a strong foundation for all of her staff.
Cookie enjoys traveling to see all parts of the world and hopes to see all seven continents. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, charitable giving, and experiencing everything life has to offer! Working at Pizza Hut afforded Cookie and her family with invaluable opportunities during her tenure that are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for all that you have done for Pizza Hut, Cookie – you will be missed!
