Jerrod Mitchell is the Vice President of Marketing of NPC’s Wendy’s Division.
Jerrod joined NPC in 2015 as a Marketing Director and has played an integral part in supporting the growth of the Wendy’s business. Jerrod drives the Marketing strategy and local media planning for Wendy’s, and he partners closely with operations in leading a sales-building culture within NPC’s restaurants.
Jerrod is a member of the Wendy’s Franchise Marketing Committee, which partners with the brand to uncover new marketing opportunities for the system. He also holds multiple marketing district leadership roles within the Wendy’s brand.
Prior to joining NPC, Jerrod served as Senior Manager of Marketing Communications for Applebee’s International, where he helped lead brand strategy and creative development. Preceding Applebee’s, Jerrod worked as an Account Supervisor at Barkley advertising agency and spent 6 years as a Brand Manager at Hallmark Cards Inc. Jerrod graduated with a double major in Marketing and Finance from the University of Kansas and earned his MBA from Baker University.
Jerrod lives in Overland Park with his wife Larami, and their son.
Favorite item on the Pizza Hut menu: It’s a tossup between Thin Crust Peperoni + Jalapeno and/or a Pan Pizza with all meats and all veggies.
Favorite thing on the Wendy’s menu: The Jalapeno Bacon Cheeseburger is my new-found love.
Best way to spend your free time: I am an avid sports fan, beer nerd, and travel buff, however, most of my free time now is spent exploring the many joys of fatherhood.
Biggest item on your bucket list: Exploring parts of the world that I haven’t had the opportunity to visit yet.
