Moultrie Area raises funds for local boy’s recovery
After a young boy named Tripp DeMott was injured in a car accident while riding his bike one day, Moultrie Area Pizza Huts stepped up to help as much as they could during his recovery.
“We saw the outpouring of support for Tripp and his family, so we wanted to do our part and one way we could do it is the fundraiser,” said Alan Griffin, Assistant Manager at Store 2955 in Moultrie, GA. His store was vital in the recent donation drive in Tripp’s name. Along with RGM Joe Woodcum and Assistant Manager Jeannie Haskins, these three worked hard to coordinate this fundraising day.
Donned in #TrippStrong t-shirts, employees offered to donate their tips and twenty percent of the day’s profits to the cause. With over $10,000 in sales for the day and a box full of additional donations, they were able to make a huge impact in helping Tripp recover!
Great work to the teams involved in this fundraising event. This event made a real difference in the lives of those in your community, and it was a huge success!
