Pizza Hut employees win big with Excelsior Scholarship
Through our partnership with Excelsior College, NPC is proud to offer a $1000 scholarship to select NPC employees in addition to our 45% discount. The following NPC Pizza Hut employees have won the 2019 Excelsior Scholarship, which will help them achieve their educational and career goals. Congratulations to all our winners!
Take one look at Maciel Ceja Luna‘s resume, and you will find a distinguished student with a drive to succeed. He radiates positive energy at work by utilizing B.L.A.S.T and celebrating his team’s successes. Not only does Maciel maintain personal relationships with his customers, but he also seeks to inspire his team members at Store 2247 in Port Charlotte, FL. Maciel’s leadership skills continue to grow, and he has mastered Leadership Swagger traits. His passion for motivating his teammates and delivering high standards each day inspires his team at the store level and above.
Self-starter Arielle Sircy looks to broaden her horizons to go infinity and beyond with NPC! Arielle has taken each opportunity she can to grow as a leader and take on new responsibilities. With a knack for listening and learning from her peers, she continues to shine and lead her team to success at Store 4622 in Lakeland, FL. She has proven her understanding not only of the business operations of NPC, but how her role impacts the company as a whole. Arielle is not afraid of failure, but embraces her mistakes as learning opportunities. She reaches for the stars to achieve a high standard of excellence, making her the perfect candidate for our Excelsior scholarship.
Anyone who has worked with Chelsey Shirley can see the determination she has to succeed. With an “I can and I will” approach to her work, Chesley never gives excuses and always works hard to achieve results. Her strong work ethic has been the core of her success. Chelsey is currently enrolled with Excelsior College and is working to earn her Bachelor’s of Professional Studies in Business and Management this Spring. As a hand-picked member of NPC’s Operations Advisory Counsel and flawless GPA at Excelsior, she will no doubt continue to be a core contributor to the success here at NPC.
Balancing work and family isn’t easy, but Rebecca Engelman doesn’t let any hurdles stop her on her way to success. She is currently working toward achieving her Master’s in Management with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. Rebecca is dedicated to learning and applying ethics on the job in order to lead young employees to being productive and motivated individuals. Her approach to leadership has made her well-respected not only by her employees but her fellow managers too.
Victoria Cobb is a perfect example of how far you can go in your career with NPC. She found working with Pizza Hut not only gave her opportunities for growth, but tied her to a mission she was passionate about: literacy. During her time with NPC, she also had the opportunity to work as a reading specialist with local elementary students who would receive Book-It coupons for reaching reading goals. Victoria continues to grow in her role by researching market events, discussing sales strategies and putting a focus on improving the customer experience. Her goal is to continue to learn and achieve her bachelor’s degree to show her daughters that “with persistence, goals can become reality”!
Diamond performing RGM Tarin Wigton has no shortage of passion when it comes to her work. She doesn’t just let customers come to her store – she reaches out in her community to give back. Tarin looks forward to the annual fundraiser for Children’s Mercy and raising money for local elementary schools. Her pride in her work shines through, and she shares the love with her team as much as she can. She doesn’t just treat her team like her employees; she treats them like family! Tarin’s goal is to graduate with a degree in Human Resources and advance her career with NPC Pizza Hut.
Since 2003, Josh Rodenberg has been a valued member of the NPC Pizza Hut family. His focus on professionalism and talent for business has led him to both short-term and long-term success at his store. In building a strong team, inspiring positive energy and leading by example, Josh never settles for less than stellar results! Over the past 15 years, Josh has a cultivated a competitive nature that sets the standard for his teams. Achieving goals isn’t just about him; he takes his people with him on the path to success. Whether it’s recognizing excellent performance or coaching his employees to success, Josh exemplifies team development. He is passionate about earning a degree in business to help him grow in his career.
